Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficient in cardiac, vascular, respiratory, and renal physiology and pathology
  • Advanced understanding of ECG, including waveform morphology and interpretation of arrhythmias
  • ACLS certification and competency in cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cardiac medications (generic/trade names, pharmacokinetics)
  • Experience documenting and monitoring cardiac catheter procedures and interventions
  • Comfort with operating and troubleshooting extraction devices (e.g., angiojet, rotoblator, laser)
  • Ability to interpret hemodynamic parameters and cardiac pressure waveforms
  • Familiarity with supplies and steps required for diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
  • Competence in training, staff orientation, and participating in special projects or committees

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Monitor diagnostic cardiac catheter procedures and intervene per ACLS standards
  • Document medications, dosages, and indications precisely
  • Record catheterization events and perform ACT, cardiac outputs, O2 saturation measurements
  • Recognize and respond to laboratory abnormalities (ABGs, electrolytes)
  • Assist with intravascular imaging and electrophysiologic studies, and identify pacemaker/ICD applications
  • Set up procedural tables and ensure supply readiness
  • Maintain the highest standards of medical ethics
