Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to cover maternity leaves and provide itinerant services for students in the Wilkes Barre, PA area. This contract role supports K-12 students and offers an opportunity to work within school settings across Lackawanna County and later in the Dunmore, PA area.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-12 students in school settings
- Provide itinerant services to students as needed
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and complete required reporting
- Adhere to all state and school policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Must hold current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Pennsylvania SLP licensure required
- Prior experience working in school-based environments
- Ability to obtain and complete all Pennsylvania clearances before start date
- Reliable transportation for onsite work
- Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview
Job Details:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week; part-time candidates will be considered
- Contract duration: immediate start through August 7, 2026
- One opening available
- Work is onsite with no teletherapy options available
