Position Overview and Qualifications
In your role as a Registered Nurse, you will be tasked with providing high-quality, patient-focused care that aligns with departmental requirements and state-specific practice standards. Working alongside medical professionals and the care team, you will deliver personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing frameworks such as ‘Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.’ You will also serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and favorable clinical outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating the patient’s condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, quickly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.
- Executing procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical records.
- Administering prescribed medications, observing the patient for therapeutic responses, and taking appropriate actions in case of any adverse reactions.
- Delivering outstanding care by promptly addressing patient requests, proactively anticipating their needs, and resolving issues as they arise.
- Educating patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up actions, ensuring clarity by simplifying complex medical terms.
Required Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Diploma in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
