Qualifications:

A valid dental hygiene license in Illinois

Strong skills in communication and patient care

Minimum Qualifications:
- A current dental hygienist license in Illinois along with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (if required)
- Comprehensive knowledge of dental practices, hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience:
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- A desire to enhance clinical skills and provide preventative care to meet patient needs
- Clinical requirements as needed by the office
Physical Requirements:
- Capability to perform essential duties as required by the office or supervising doctor, with or without reasonable accommodations. Adjustments may be made to assist individuals with disabilities in fulfilling essential job functions.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 45 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to participate in virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
