Shift: 8a-4:30p (Mon-Fri)
Location: The Colony, TX (Next to Nebraska Furniture Mart)
Job Description
The Shipping Specialist will be responsible for following established procedures to issue parts from inventory for work-in-process orders, oversee material usage, and manage the shipment of products. The candidate will play a crucial role in identifying material shortages that affect production schedules and reconciling inventory to minimize manufacturing downtime. Additionally, the candidate will recognize various types of material receipts, sort them by type, and deliver them to appropriate locations.
Responsibilities
- Issue parts from inventory for work-in-process orders.
- Identify and reconcile inventory to eliminate extra costs and minimize manufacturing downtime.
- Recognize various types of material receipts at the dock and deliver them to the appropriate location.
- Pick materials and identify shortages affecting production schedules.
Essential Skills
- Experience with high-volume distribution centers (3,000 lines per day) or automated distribution centers.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (training provided).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with RF scanning.
- Understanding of inventory control and GMP.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift experience is optional.
- Computer experience preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
