Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Multiple openings are available for the upcoming academic year, with placements across a broad spectrum of caseloads including elementary self-contained settings focused on essential skills, as well as middle and high school resource and co-teaching assignments. Your expertise will help foster a supportive and inclusive environment for learners of varying abilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Missouri Special Education Teacher license, or a fully transferable active teaching license from another state. Candidates with licensure pending in Missouri may also be considered.
- Demonstrated experience working with students in special education programs (elementary, middle, or high school level).
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse needs, emphasizing both academic and life skills.
- Comfortable working in-person within a school setting (remote/virtual work is not an option).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnership with fellow educators, administrators, and families.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specially designed instruction for students with a range of learning and functional abilities, including those in self-contained settings and resource/co-teaching environments.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to support student success.
- Foster an environment of respect, dignity, and learning for all students.
- Maintain ongoing documentation and adhere to all regulatory and district compliance requirements.
