Job Position: Occupational Therapist (Elementary School)
Location: Des Plaines, IL 60016
Pay Rate: $45.00/hr to $55.00/hr
Shift: MondayFriday, 7:20 AM 2:35 PM
Description:
Birch Agency is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide coverage for a long-term leave at an elementary school near Des Plaines, IL. This is a full-time, school-based position running from March through June.

Caseload: Approximately 4250 students

Compensation:

Competitive hourly pay, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
-
Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
-
Collect and analyze data on student IEP goals
-
Collaborate and communicate with IEP teams, parents, and school staff
-
Complete fine motor and sensory profile evaluations and write comprehensive reports
-
Provide occupational therapy services to support student access to the educational environment
Qualifications:
-
Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license
-
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
-
Strong documentation, evaluation, and collaboration skills
