Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist at a closed-door long-term care (LTC) pharmacy located in Topeka, KS. This contract-to-hire position offers a focused role supporting quality assurance in an LTC setting.

Schedule:

  • Thursdays and Fridays
  • 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing quality assurance (QA) activities to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Conducting cycle checking to maintain inventory accuracy and medication safety
  • Verifying prescriptions accurately and efficiently to support safe medication use

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Kansas Pharmacist license in good standing with no negative history
  • Minimum of 1 year pharmacist experience; LTC experience is preferred but newer graduates and retail experience will be considered
  • Ability to start immediately and commit to the scheduled days
