We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead the strategic planning and execution of preconstruction efforts for high-impact projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage project development and enjoys collaborating across teams to shape project outcomes from concept to construction.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a key contributor and sometimes lead in preconstruction planning and coordination.
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to define project goals and scope.
- Develop early-stage budgets and pricing models based on conceptual designs.
- Create project timelines and collaborate on phasing and site logistics.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and input data into estimating tools.
- Build and refine estimating procedures, templates, and presentation formats.
- Analyze subcontractor bids, supplier pricing, and material costs.
- Identify and onboard qualified subcontractors and vendors.
- Lead logistical planning for project execution.
- Recommend cost-effective alternatives through value engineering.
- Participate in planning meetings and guide projects through preconstruction milestones.
- Work closely with owners, architects, and leadership to align expectations and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in construction, with a focus on preconstruction and estimating.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and value engineering.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
- Willingness to travel to project sites.
