Job Title: Area Superintendent – Semiconductor Construction (Swing Shift) Location: Chandler, AZ (Intel Campus) Shift: Swing — 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday–Friday Compensation: Competitive flat monthly salary, paid weekly

About the Role PPG Staffing is partnering with a national Tier-1 General Contractor on a major semiconductor construction project at the Intel campus in Chandler, AZ. We are hiring an experienced Area Superintendent to lead field operations on the swing shift (2 PM–midnight).

This is a high-impact, boots-on-the-ground leadership role on one of the most complex industrial builds in the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct on-site supervision of trade crews across assigned area of the project
• Lead daily coordination of subcontractors, schedule sequencing, and field execution
• Enforce site-wide safety standards, quality compliance, and project specifications
• Coordinate with day-shift Superintendents and Project Management for seamless handoff
• Manage materials staging, tool/equipment readiness, and crew productivity
• Identify field issues, resolve constructability questions, and escalate as needed
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and crew accountability

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction field leadership experience, with at least 3+ years as a Superintendent or Area Superintendent
• Direct experience on semiconductor, mission-critical, data center, or large industrial projects strongly preferred
• Prior Tier-1 GC experience (Hensel Phelps, DPR, Mortenson, McCarthy, Whiting-Turner, Sundt, Clayco, Holder, JE Dunn, Layton, Kiewit, etc.) preferred
• Comfortable supervising crews of 50–150+ personnel
• Must be available and committed to the 2 PM–12 AM swing shift schedule
