This role manages the legislative office for State Representative Chad Clifford.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Legislative Aide at Colorado General Assembly. The Legislative Aide will be responsible for legislative research, assisting with law-related tasks, communication with stakeholders, and maintaining legislative relations. The role is located in Denver, CO at the Colorado State Capitol during legislative sessions with the possibility of some work from home during the interim months of June through December.
Full state benefits including health and PERA Retirement eligibility.
Compensation between $44k and $68k depending on qualifications, education, and experience.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Interest in Public Safety, Disablity Integration, Housing Policy, and governance is useful to this role.
- Interest inPolitical Science, Law, Public Administration is useful but not required.
Fast paced and mission-driven work environment during legislative sessions (Jan - May) each year. Much more relaxed and flexible scheduling during the interim (between June and December).
The perfect person for this position must be self-managing, and focused constantly on space, time, and often changing schedules and deadlines.
This position is a forward face for a legislative office and deals with high-level elected officials and adminstrators of state agencies and interfaces daily with constituents with wide ranging concerns.
This position also manages a team of college (typically 5-10 Masters level) interns.
