We are a well-established, 2nd generation, high-volume flooring contractor specializing in residential and commercial construction projects across the Greater Houston area. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized **Order Entry / Data Entry Administrator** to join our operations team.
**Position Overview**
As the Order Entry / Data Entry Administrator, you will serve as the critical link between our sales team, project managers, and installation crews by managing all new construction labor work orders and related documentation with speed and precision.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Verify job details, including product selections and installation requirements
- Accurately enter those details into operational systems
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure materials are ordered correctly and on time
- Process, organize, and distribute flooring installation documents to the project management team
- Proactively communicate with project managers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate in accordance with plans and specifications
- Assist with generating reports and pulling data for scheduling and inventory management
- Maintain organized digital filing systems
**Qualifications & Requirements**
- 1+ years of data entry or order entry experience (construction, flooring, or builder services experience a strong plus)
- Experience with Intuit QuickBooks is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with multiple teams
