Job Title: Commercial Painter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled painter to join our team, responsible for applying paint and finishes to various surfaces in commercial and residential settings. The role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint using different techniques, and collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, scrape, and prime surfaces prior to painting.
- Paint Application: Use brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to apply paint, varnish, or finishes.
- Masking & Cleanup: Mask off areas, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure job sites are left in good condition.
- Team Collaboration: Work with crew members on painting and general building tasks while following safety protocols.
- Equipment Care: Maintain tools and report any repair needs.
Essential Skills
- Experience in painting, including commercial painting and paint preparation.
- Proficiency in using rollers, brushes, and spray equipment.
- Ability to paint without tape and own necessary tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in residential and industrial painting.
- Proficiency with spray guns and sanding techniques.
- OSHA 10 certification.

Work Environment
Work primarily involves interior painting, with occasional outdoor assignments. The shift runs from 7am to 3:30pm, with potential for extended hours post-contract

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lees Summit, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
