Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a meaningful role providing speech-language pathology services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade in an educational setting near Sebago, ME. This full-time contract opportunity offers a chance to make a real difference for a caseload of 38-42 students, helping them build essential communication skills for academic and social success.

You’ll work 33.75 hours per week, fostering growth and supporting diverse student needs within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The role begins on 8/31/26, but there is an opportunity to participate in orientation and safety trainings scheduled for 8/24-8/28—ideal but not required for qualified candidates ready to get started.

What will make you a great fit:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Maine
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or a strong Clinical Fellow (CF) considered
  • Experience working with Pre-K through 12th-grade populations preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a moderate caseload independently

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and other support staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and intervention strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
  • Engage in ongoing professional learning and adhere to state/federal regulatory requirements
