Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (CF or CCC Multiple Openings)
Location: Santa Rosa County, FL (Gulf Breeze, Navarre, and surrounding areas)

Overview

Santa Rosa County Schools are seeking dedicated in-person Speech-Language Pathologists (CFs or CCCs) for multiple openings across elementary and intermediate campuses. These roles require strong collaboration skills and experience working with self-contained classrooms.

Please note: SLPA and Tele-SLP candidates will not be considered for most positions due to the nature of the caseloads.

Current Openings

1. Gulf Breeze Elementary

Schedule: Full-Time, 5 days/week (7:30 AM 3:00 PM)
Details: Shared caseload with another CCC-SLP (4 days/week)
Requirements: In-person CF or CCC-SLP only site includes several self-contained classrooms

2. West Navarre Primary (New Opening)

Schedule: Up to 4 days/week (Part-Time)
Details: Shared caseload with in-person SLP covering self-contained classes
Requirements: In-person CF or CCC-SLP preferred; may consider experienced Tele-SLP (2+ years school-based)

3. Dixon Intermediate (Grades 35) Maternity Leave Coverage

Schedule: Full-Time, 5 days/week (7:20 AM 2:50 PM)
Dates: Mid-March May 28, 2025
Details: Shared caseload with another CCC-SLP (4 days/week)
Requirements: In-person CF or CCC-SLP only

4. West Navarre Intermediate (PK, Grades 35) Maternity Leave Coverage

Schedule: Full-Time, 5 days/week (7:30 AM 3:00 PM)
Dates: Mid-March May 28, 2025
Details: Shared caseload with another full-time CCC-SLP
Requirements: In-person CF or CCC-SLP only

5. District SLP Diagnostician New Full-Time Opening

Coverage: 78 schools (county-wide)
Role: Perform evaluations, mentor SLPs, and participate in SLP Diagnostician Monthly Meetings and PLCs
Requirements: CCC-SLP with strong leadership and diagnostic experience

Qualifications

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active Florida SLP License (CFs must have state eligibility)
Experience in school-based settings preferred
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
