Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services in a reputable hospital setting. This contract position requires proficiency in MRI procedures, particularly with Phillips Achieva equipment, and the ability to manage scanning for patients with implanted devices. Candidates should possess hospital experience and a strong technical skill set to deliver accurate and efficient diagnostic imaging.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years MRI technologist experience in a hospital environment
  • Prior experience scanning patients with implanted devices is essential
  • Proficiency with Phillips Achieva MRI systems strongly preferred
  • ARRT (MR) certification and BLS certification required
  • Experience using Cerner, Unity PACS, and Inteview PACS preferred
  • Minimum of one year travel experience in MRI technology
  • Ability to rotate weekend shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI imaging using advanced equipment
  • Manage patient safety during scanning, especially those with medical implants
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate diagnostics
  • Float between multiple hospital locations as needed
  • Participate in a 2-day orientation in the first week to familiarize with hospital protocols

Schedule:

  • 12-hour night shifts (1830-0700), three varied shifts per week
  • Weekend rotations required
  • Call shifts available but not mandatory

Additional Details:

  • Nicotine-free facility
  • Bi-weekly pay with 8 hours of non-billable orientation
  • Holiday work is not required, with appropriate adjustments to pay periods if holidays fall on scheduled days
