We are currently seeking a skilled Fabrication Technician to join our team in Lavon, TX. This is a first-shift opportunity with competitive pay based on experience. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, measuring materials accurately, and assembling metal components to create high-quality finished products.
Training will be in Dallas, TX 75229 for two weeks
$18-$20/hour (DOE)
Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM flex for overtime
Key Responsibilities
Tack materials together and verify layout accuracy according to blueprints
Perform finish welding to complete fabricated products
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and written/verbal instructions
Accurately read tape measures, gauges, and material specifications
Convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals
Layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines
Set up and operate fabrication machinery and air/hand tools
Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous fabrication and/or welding experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Strong math skills (measurement conversions required)
Experience using fabrication machines and hand tools
High attention to detail and quality standards
Reliable and dependable attendance
