Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (state credentials required)
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology (or related field)
- Strong experience in psychoeducational evaluations, counseling, and behavioral interventions within K-12 settings
- Familiarity with IEP meetings, eligibility determination, and multi-tiered systems of support
- Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to adapt to variable caseloads and dynamic educational needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and interpret a variety of psychological, academic, and behavioral data
- Support and participate in IEP/504 meetings, providing expert recommendations
- Deliver counseling and direct interventions to address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective strategies for student support
- Contribute to the development and implementation of behavioral and academic interventions
- Maintain accurate and organized records in line with district and state guidelines
- Serve as a trusted resource for crisis intervention and prevention
