Job Duties: CNC Operator - Trainable for a mechanically inclined individual
- Follow all PPE and safety requirements
- Use of two CNC machines to cut and mill various materials and route orders to the next station in an orderly and proficient manner
- Swap out materials for cutting such as titanium, aluminum, stainless steel, polycarbonate wax etc.
- Use of and editing of pre-existing programs to cut materials to order specifications, use conflict resolution to respond to and correct error codes
- Use in house communications to obtain parameters for cutting/milling various rings
- Track use of materials to ensure that adequate supply is always on hand
- Perform monthly and as-needed maintenance to keep machines running smoothly
Necessary Skills: CNC Operator
- Basic understanding of CNC operating programs or machine operation
- Basic understanding of machine maintenance
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail, proficient in the use of calipers and sizing mandrel
- Able to stand for extended periods-able to work overtime when required
- Adaptable and willing to accept cross training in other departments as needed
