Shift Type: Flex Shift
Schedule:
- Monday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 22.5 Hours (7.5 x 3)
Job Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CT Technologist for a contract opportunity in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, radiation protection, and compliance with imaging protocols and departmental standards.
This opportunity offers a flexible schedule with potential for permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures following physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging using appropriate technical settings
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
- Conduct daily equipment quality control and calibration checks
- Monitor and document patient information accurately in imaging systems
- Prepare and administer contrast or radiopharmaceuticals as required
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions promptly
- Support quality assurance and patient safety initiatives
- Maintain imaging records and ensure timely image transfer for radiologist review
- Deliver compassionate patient care before, during, and after procedures
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.)
- ARRT Certification in Radiography required
- Current CT Certification required
- Current BLS Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- Strong understanding of CT imaging procedures and radiation safety practices
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous hospital or acute care radiology experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and teamwork abilities
