Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead complex electrical engineering projects, ensuring excellence in design, compliance, and implementation. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive experience to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems and components for projects
- Conduct detailed engineering analysis and calculations to support design decisions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for projects
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to define project scope and objectives
- Mentor and guide junior engineering staff in best practices and technical skills
- Review and approve engineering designs and drawings produced by the team
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on engineering progress
- Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for electrical design
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
