Your Role as Bookkeeping Admin Associate
We’re looking for a Bookkeeping Admin Associate to join our team of problem-solvers, innovators, and coffee enthusiasts. You’ll be the backbone of our bookkeeping efforts, ensuring everything runs smoother than a freshly buttered slide. Your superpower? Turning numbers into actionable insights and making the impossible look easy.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately record and classify daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash receipts and disbursements.
- Assist in the processing of vendor invoices, ensuring proper documentation and timely payments. Prepare and send basic customer invoices and track payments.
- Assist in cash advance processing and liquidation.
- Assist with bank reconciliations by matching bank statements to internal records. Manage petty cash and ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain organized and accurate records in our accounting system (e.g. Xero)
- Organize and maintain financial documents, both physical and electronic.
- Assist the Senior Bookkeeper with various tasks, including preparing reports, assisting with payroll preparation, and data analysis.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other statutory reports in compliance with Philippine tax regulations.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding invoices, payments, and other financial matters.
- Ensure adherence to basic accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Perform other clerical and administrative tasks as required to support the finance function.
- Identify and implement improvements to bookkeeping processes

What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications
- A problem-solver with a knack for thinking outside the box (and sometimes dismantling the box entirely).
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or any related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Basic understanding of Philippine tax regulations and payroll procedures is a plus.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, local Philippine accounting software) is an advantage.
