Compensation: $30–$36/hr (Based on Experience) + Shift Premium, Quarterly Bonuses

Job Purpose
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you’ll specialize in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic systems for heavy machinery, including corrugators, die-cutters, and related equipment, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your expertise with PLCs, frequency drives, and high-voltage systems (480V+) will maintain plant efficiency and safety. This role offers competitive pay ($30–$36/hr plus shift premium), a 3rd shift schedule (Sunday 8:00 PM–Friday 4:00 AM, with possible weekend overtime), and opportunities for career advancement in a supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electronic machine controls, including PLCs, frequency drives, encoders, logic controls, and timing circuits.

Maintain and repair electrical equipment, such as motors, relays, circuit breakers, and alarm/communication systems, diagnosing issues and replacing defective parts.

Install and repair production machinery components, including water, air, hydraulic, and electrical piping/tubing, ensuring operational reliability.

Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery to minimize downtime.

Adhere to Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Hazard Evaluation Control Procedures (HECPs) for all machine centers.

Support general facility maintenance, including lighting, wiring, plumbing, carpentry, and welding as needed.

Assist production teams with supervisor approval to ensure seamless operations.

Rebuild machinery sub-components and perform facility repairs to maintain plant infrastructure.
Qualifications

4+ years of electrical maintenance experience in industrial, manufacturing, or military settings.

Strong knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) and experience with medium/high voltage systems (480V+).

Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and ladder logic.

Experience with AC/DC motors, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar software.

Preferred: Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and operator interfaces.

Preferred: Prior work in a corrugated box plant, paper industry, or with flexographic/die-cutting equipment.

Preferred: Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification.

Valid driver’s license and ability to work 3rd shift (Sunday 8:00 PM–Friday 4:00 AM) with possible weekend overtime.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
Physical Requirements

Lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed.

Perform tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in industrial environments.

Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, pressure gauges).

Work 3rd shift (Sunday 8:00 PM–Friday 4:00 AM) with occasional weekend overtime when required.
