We are committed to providing cutting-edge mental health treatments while maintaining strong financial stewardship and operational efficiency.We are seeking a Part-Time Controller (15-20 hours per week) to support our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accrual-based financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal management reporting requirements.
- Coordinate the preparation of financial reports for audits and liaise with external auditors to resolve findings and inquiries.
- Report on significant variances in financial reporting along with explanation.
- Strategic Financial Support: Provide financial analysis and recommendations to enhance financial performance and cost efficiency.
- Additional Duties: Support special projects and initiatives as directed by senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting/financial leadership roles with small companies.
- CPA preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Experience with accrual method of accounting; cash flow management, and financial audits
- Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with remote teams.
