Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) K-12 Schools | Stafford, VA (Washington DC Area)

Seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to serve K-12 students within Stafford County schools, located approximately 45 minutes south of Washington, DC. This full-time contract opportunity runs from January 5, 2026, through May 29, 2026, with potential part-time options for candidates available at a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted speech and language therapy services for elementary and middle school students.
  • Manage a caseload typically around 50 students, with a maximum of 55.
  • Support no more than two school assignments per clinician to ensure quality care.
  • Collaborate with school personnel and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Uphold professional standards while supporting students communication development.

Qualifications:

  • Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist licensure is required.
  • CCCs certification is necessary; candidates who have completed their Clinical Fellowship (CF) are welcome as supervision will be provided.
  • Experience in school settings is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are encouraged to submit resumes for consideration, although prior hires in this role have not occurred.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours/week.
