Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week assignment in Atlantis, Florida at a large acute care medical center with a dedicated 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit.

Position Overview

The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic, neurological, cardiovascular, and medical conditions. The PT will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to improve patient mobility, restore function, and support recovery.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy plans and home exercise programs

• Document care and patient progress in the EMR system

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and rehabilitation staff to coordinate care

Requirements

• Active Florida Physical Therapist License

• BLS Certification

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in acute care, inpatient rehab, or skilled nursing facility settings

Assignment Details

• 13-week travel contract

• Day shift (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

• One weekend per month with weekdays adjusted accordingly

• EMR: Meditech

• Grey scrubs required
