A fast-paced, well-established law firm in Monmouth County, NJ is seeking a highly detail-oriented Wire Specialist to join its Accounting and Finance team. This full-time, in-office role supports a high daily volume of incoming and outgoing wire transfers tied to real estate closings and private lending transactions.
This position is ideal for someone who is extremely accurate, organized, and comfortable operating in a deadline-driven environment where precision and compliance are critical. Prior exposure to trust accounting, escrow processes, and banking portals is strongly preferred.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute high-volume wire transfers related to closings, payoffs, escrow disbursements, and internal accounts
- Review and validate wire instructions, payee information, and account details with exceptional accuracy
- Communicate with banks, attorneys, clients, and internal teams to confirm funds and resolve wire-related issues
- Ensure adherence to firm procedures, trust account requirements, and applicable state regulations
- Maintain detailed documentation of wire activity, confirmations, and internal tracking logs
- Assist with account reconciliations, end-of-day wire audits, and daily funding reports
- Monitor wire queues and proactively follow up on pending or time-sensitive transactions
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in wire processing, banking operations, legal accounting, or real estate finance
- Previous experience within a law firm, title company, escrow operation, or private lending environment strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with banking wire platforms such as JP Morgan Access, Citibank, Bank of America, or Wells Fargo
- Working knowledge of escrow and trust account handling
- Strong attention to detail with a high standard for accuracy and compliance
- Clear and professional communication skills, particularly when confirming funds and coordinating with stakeholders
- Ability to manage a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced setting with shifting priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting or financial systems
