Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM\nWork Type: Full-time\nPurpose: Backfill for Ashley Bobo and Abigail Orozco\n\nSummary:\nThe RN practices independently in a perinatal setting, providing routine and complex care, managing clinical contingencies, delegating appropriately, and supporting patient and family education.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDeliver care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation\n\nAdminister medications/treatments per protocol and monitor effectiveness/side effects\n\nDocument patient history, symptoms, and care given\n\nAssess patient/family learning needs and provide education\n\nDemonstrate OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders\n\nLicenses & Certifications Required:\n\nRN license in NM or compact\n\nBLS (AHA)\n\nACLS (AHA)\n\nNRP\n\nAWHONN Intermediate FHM or C-EFM\n\nSTABLE (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants)\n\nExperience:\n\n1+ year in perinatal or related nursing specialty preferred\n\nPerinatal RN Residency or recent perinatal practice preferred\n\nOrientation & Competency:\n\nNew hire orientation within first 30 days\n\nPrecepted by trained staff; organizational and perinatal competency validations required\n\nAnnual competency verification completion\n\nNotes:\n\nAll newly hired experienced RNs must complete perinatal-specific training and validations\n\nNight shift assignment
