Job Title: Customer Care Specialist Department/Division: Customer Service
FLSA Status:Salaried Non-Exempt
Supervisor/Manager & Title: Customer Service Supervisor
Location: Weatherford, Texas
Summary:
This position of Customer Care Specialist will be the primary contact for all JAMAK Fabrication customers. The Customer Care Specialist will coordinate customer’s needs with the applicable department.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers concerning orders, shipments, invoicing of product or any special request.
- Communicate any shipment delays to customers
- Initiate customer master change requests for the customer’s computer master file
- Send order confirmations to customers when necessary
- Make changes to or cancel orders/backorders
- Initiate orders for replacement parts and/or for correcting errors
- Obtain customer feedback information
- Process expedited orders as necessary
- “Break down’ job folders, mail invoices, and distribute paperwork as required.
- Maintain filing system at all times.
- Maintain a clean, orderly department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Must be a self-motivated, dependable, team oriented person with a positive Can Do attitude who can be effective under pressure.
- The ability to present themselves and information in a professional manner.
- Excellent interpersonal people skills.
- Willingness to provide excellent customer service
- Friendly telephone personality.
- Ability to be patient, calm and helpful with internal and external customers to resolve issues in a constructive manner.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Prior customer service experience although not required is preferred.
- Familiarity with AS400 and Windows operating systems.
