Correctional LPN Opportunity – Pennsylvania

A-Line Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time Correctional LPN opportunity in Pennsylvania. This position offers a stable schedule, hands-on clinical experience, and the opportunity to provide essential healthcare services within a secure correctional setting.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• 5 shifts per week (8-hour shifts)
• Includes every other weekend
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Correctional LPN Responsibilities

• Conduct intake health screenings and assess newly admitted inmates
• Provide emergency nursing care, including CPR and first aid as needed
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions
• Manage and monitor chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension
• Assess, evaluate, and treat routine medical concerns and illnesses
• Educate inmates on hygiene, wellness, nutrition, and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, mental health professionals, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Adhere to correctional facility safety and security protocols while providing patient care

Requirements

• Active LPN License in Pennsylvania
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a structured and fast-paced environment
• Previous correctional, behavioral health, long-term care, or emergency nursing experience preferred but not required
