Solvet Services, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, has proudly supported the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since 2018. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hearing Aid Technician to support Baton Rouge VA CBOC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Audiologists in conducting audiometric tests and diagnostic procedures.
- Set up and maintain audiology equipment.
- Prepare and explain audiology testing to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding.
- Provide support with hearing aid fittings, adjustments, and maintenance.
- Document patient information and test results accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the audiology clinic.
- Adhere to all safety and medical standards set forth by the VA.
- Collaborate with other medical staff to provide comprehensive care.
Required Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Audiology Health Technician.
- Experience in audiology or related medical fields.
- At least 1 year of healthcare experience, ideally supporting audiology services or hearing aid repairs
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
This full-time role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional audiologic care and supporting our nation's Veterans through hands-on technical and administrative support within the Audiology Clinic.
