Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative – Electric Motor Industry
A reputable company in Denver, CO is seeking a Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative with electric motor industry experience. This role supports customers via counter and phone sales, prepares quotes, processes orders, and coordinates repairs and product replacements.
Position: Customer Service Representative
Starting Wage: $25.00 – $35.00/hour (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities:

Serve customers through counter, phone, and email communication.

Prepare quotes and enter sales orders; follow up to convert opportunities into sales.

Make outbound calls to qualify leads and promote products and services.

Provide detailed knowledge on electric motors, pumps, blowers, VFDs, and switchgear.

Recommend alternative products based on specifications, cost, or availability.

Monitor and maintain stock levels and estimate delivery times.
-
Expedite orders and coordinate timely delivery to meet customer expectations.

Document business transactions and customer interactions accurately.

Maintain up-to-date customer records in internal systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to delivery or product inquiries.

Operate computer systems and common office equipment efficiently.

Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and wear required PPE.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Report any incidents or near-misses immediately.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required.

Must have prior experience in the electric motor industry or similar industrial environment.

Strong communication and customer service skills.
-
Technical aptitude with a focus on problem-solving and solution selling.
