Master Scheduler | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $73,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Delta Township that are seeking Master Schedulers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for finished goods.
Balance production capacity with customer demand and inventory targets.
Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain to align scheduling plans.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to mitigate delays or optimize output.
Identify and resolve material or capacity constraints impacting the MPS.
Analyze forecast accuracy and incorporate changes into the MPS.
Manage lead times and ensure on-time delivery performance.

Recommended Qualifications

5+ years of experience in master scheduling or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in utilizing ERP/MRP systems for production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize production schedules and resolve conflicts.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex scheduling information effectively.
Experience with demand forecasting, capacity planning, and participation in S&OP processes.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis RapidResponse).
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, advanced Excel modeling, SQL).
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
