Patient Service Representative - Full Time
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our clinical team. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and efficient experience for all patients while supporting smooth daily clinic operations.
Responsibilities:

Greet patients upon arrival and check them in for appointments

Verify patient information, insurance details, and update records as needed

Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries

Manage patient flow and maintain accurate records in the clinic's EMR system

Collect co-pays and process payments for services rendered

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment

Collaborate with medical staff to support smooth patient care processes

Perform basic office duties such as filing, faxing, and mailing documents

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday with 8-hour shifts. Must be comfortable working until 6:00pm when needed.
Requirements:

Strong customer service skills and ability to create a welcoming atmosphere

Ability to work with diverse patient populations

Active BLS certification (required)

Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred but not required

Comfortable completing required health screens
Pay Rate:
Up to $21/hr depending on experience and tenure.
Nice to Have:

Experience with Epic or other EMR systems

Previous healthcare or front desk experience
