Weber Gallagher seeks a detailed and organized billing specialist to support our Philadelphia, PA office. This position has flexibility to work remotely from any of the following states: New Jersey, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Florida, or Delaware. Qualified candidate must have three to five years’ experience in law firm billing.
Responsibilities:
- Posting time.
- Preparing files for billing.
- Generating pre bills.
- Editing attorney time as directed.
- Reviewing pre bills for client guidelines/implementation.
- Processing final billing.
- Creating and maintaining billing rates.
- Setting up new files on electronic billing sites.
- Submitting invoices to electronic billing sites with specific experience in – editing text files, adding timekeepers, budgets and rates to bill sites, reviewing billing errors and updating files accordingly.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in legal billing, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will also be considered.
- Familiarity with electronic billing sites (LSS, Legal Exchange, Legal X/Allegient, Collaborati, Tymetrix, Serengeti, Collaboration, etc.), required.
- Experience with Aderant, preferred.
- Experience working with attorneys and clients and maintaining accurate client matter information in finance system.
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate professionally across a wide range of audiences.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
