Well established Bay Area physical medicine and rehabilitation medical group seeking part-time or full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in our outpatient multidisciplinary Brain Injury treatment program.
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose Cognitive-Linguistic disorders in adults with Acquired Brain Injuries.
- Collaborate weekly with other healthcare professionals, such as Physicians, Psychologists and Physical Therapists, to provide holistic care to patients.
- Conduct group as well as 1:1 therapy sessions.
- Monitor clients' progress with screenings and rating scales.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client's progress and treatment outcomes for worker’s compensation reporting.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
- Current, unrestricted SLP California license.
- Strong CFY will be considered.
- Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred.
- Experience working with clients recovering from neurological injuries and illnesses.
- A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred.
- MoCA certification ideal.
- Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
- Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail.
