The Industrial Painter will provide routine and preventative maintenance painting duties and paint application for a full range of specialized painting projects including large structures, tractors, trailers, agricultural equipment, and industrial pieces.
Responsibilities
- Prepare items to be painted, including all sanding, masking, and repair work.
- Perform a variety of routine and preventative maintenance painting such as high steel and structural painting, sandblasting, and preparation for zinc, enamel, epoxy, bitumastic, and urethane painting on various surfaces.
- Maintain safety standards in the performance of duties.
- Clean up facilities on a daily basis.
- Ensure manager is aware of any issues which can impact customer satisfaction or billing.
- Maintain good condition and cleanliness of company vehicles, tools, and equipment, including the return of tools to storage areas.
- Ensure all company values are adhered to and promoted through leading by example and creating an environment of trust and teamwork.
- Participate in all requested job-related training and development, as well as taking an active interest in improving skills with other training programs.
- Follow all company and common sense safety policies, while using all required personal protective equipment.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

- Experience with painting steel, metal, and other structural and heavy equipment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with operating airless and conventional spray equipment preferred
- Auto body skills preferred
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment such as forklifts and hydraulic lifts
- Ability to lift 50 - 55 pounds as required without assistance
- Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professionalism in the workplace
- Strong organizational skills

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $47840.00/yr.
