<p>We are seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Assistant&nbsp;to support our podiatry team. Our team values efficiency, professionalism, and compassionate patient interactions and must be comfortable working in a fast paced clinical environment.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Room patients and obtain medical history</li>
<li>Assist physician with in-office procedures (e.g. nail care, wound care, injections).</li>
<li>Prepare and sterilize instruments</li>
<li>Perform basic clinical tasks such as dressing changes and suture removal</li>
<li>Maintain clean and organized exam rooms</li>
<li>Document accurately in the EMR</li>
<li>Perform and assist with digital x-rays</li>
<li>Dispense durable medical equipment and provide patient education</li>
</ul>
<p>​<strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Medical assistant certification preferred (not required with experience).</li>
<li>Prior clinical experience required (podiatry, wound care, ortho, or surgical specialty preferred)</li>
<li>Strong organizational and communication skills</li>
<li>EMR familiarity</li>
<li>Experience with X-ray imaging preferred</li>
<li>Ability to multi task in a fast paced setting</li>
