A nursing opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Intensive Care Units. This contract position offers a chance to contribute your critical care expertise in a dynamic hospital environment.
Location: Chicago, IL
Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 3 shifts per week, scheduled according to unit needs
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience in an ICU setting
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Utilize advanced monitoring and life support equipment effectively
