Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A nursing opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Intensive Care Units. This contract position offers a chance to contribute your critical care expertise in a dynamic hospital environment.

Location: Chicago, IL

Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • 3 shifts per week, scheduled according to unit needs

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience in an ICU setting
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Utilize advanced monitoring and life support equipment effectively
