Wage: $22.00 - $24.00
Position Summary:
Under direction of the Director of Fleet and Facilities Maintenance, is responsible for accurate and timely accounting functions such as preparing purchase orders, invoice coding, and maintaining inventory and assets. Maintain a positive working environment, project a professional image to the public and follow established company policies and procedures.
Education and Experience:
- Two-year degree (Accounting or related field)
- Knowledge of Accounting Practices
- Proficient in Excel
- Critical Thinking Skills
- Efficiency with Computer Apps and Accounting Software
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to pass drug test.
- Ability to pass criminal background test.
- Must possess valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
- Stands, walks, stoops, sits, climbs stairs and ladders.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable.
- Credit Card purchase reconciliation.
- Ensure receipts are attached to applicable work orders in WorxHub.
- Prepare Purchase Orders
- Reconciliation of vendor statements.
- Reconciliation and monitoring of Open Purchase Orders.
- Collect required documents for new vendors.
- Manage building maintenance inventory, including researching and sourcing replacement products.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for maintenance and mechanical supplies.
- Document and submit monthly DOT trip sheets.
- Perform annual HUD inspections.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
