Electrical Test Technician

Location: Farmington Hills, MI

Summary

Join our team as a crucial Electrical Test Technician, specifically focusing on the testing of fuse boxes. You will ensure the quality and reliability of our products through diligent electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing. We are seeking a motivated, experienced individual with a strong electronics background who is eager to learn and collaborate. The main focus for our successful candidate will be hands-on testing experience and electronics knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform specialized electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests, particularly on fuse boxes, according to customer specifications and under the guidance of a Test Engineer and/or Manager.
• Operate and maintain a wide variety of specialized testing equipment, including:
• • Temperature/Humidity Chambers
  • Thermal Shock Chambers
  • Vibration Shakers
  • Polishing/Grinding Machines
  • Push-Pull Testers
  • Power Supplies, and Data Acquisition Systems.
• Actively participate in departmental tasks, including equipment calibration, work instruction development, and continuous improvement activities (Kaizen).
• Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation of all test data and results, contributing to departmental goals.
• Work independently to achieve assigned tasks while effectively collaborating with the team and sharing equipment resources.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, maintain a safe working environment, and practice good housekeeping at all times.

Required Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong Electronics background with associated test equipment experience.
• Electrical experience
