Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Two openings are available for Special Education Teachers specializing in elementary education within center-based programs focused on providing intensive support to students with affective needs and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). These contract positions, based in Golden, CO, run through May 28, 2026, offering a structured MondayFriday schedule with 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction tailored to individual education programs (IEPs) for elementary students with specialized needs
- Implement and manage individualized academic and behavioral supports
- Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to support student progress
- Maintain compliance with IEP requirements, timelines, documentation, and data collection protocols
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education Generalist license is mandatory
- Experience working in center-based or self-contained educational settings is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated skills in behavioral support, addressing communication needs, and data-driven IEP implementation
