Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring for a Registered Nurse for their client in Rochester, MI.

Job Title: Part-Time Contingent Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Care Medication & Vital Monitoring
Location: In-Home (Client Residences)
Schedule: Part-Time, Contingent | Estimated: On-call 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Monday – Friday.

Pay- 45-50/HR
Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee medication setting and vital monitoring for home care clients. This role is ideal for an RN with a strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring safe medication management. The RN will set up clients’ medications weekly, monitor vitals, and help establish best practices for medication management within our organization.
Key Responsibilities

  • Medication Setup & Documentation:

    • Organize and set up weekly medications for clients, ensuring accurate dosages and schedules.

    • Verify prescriptions and document medications.

    • Develop and maintain a standardized medication setup form for record-keeping.

  • Vital Signs Monitoring:

    • Check and record vitals (blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, temperature, etc.).

    • Identify concerns and escalate any issues to physicians or family members as necessary.

  • Process Development & Compliance:

    • Assist in developing best practices for medication setup and vital monitoring.

    • Help create documentation standards and protocols for internal staff.

    • Provide input on secure medication storage solutions for client safety.

  • On-Call Availability:

    • Be available between 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM for at least two shifts per week (want to get to 5) to address medication-related concerns.

    • Respond to caregiver or client inquiries regarding medications and vitals (on call for family if needed, and will let office know if they reach out and we will bill accordingly).

  • Training & Support:

    • Serve as a resource for caregivers regarding medication reminders and observation of side effects.

    • Educate clients and families about medication adherence and health monitoring.

  • Documentation & Verification:

    • Ensure proper documentation of all medication setups and vital sign recordings.

    • Implement a verification process where clients or family members confirm medication accuracy.

    • Develop and implement a liability waiver for medication setup services to ensure clarity and compliance with internal policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Active RN License in good standing.

  • 3+ year of clinical experience (home care experience preferred but not required).

  • Certifications:

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)

    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Preferred, but highly recommended)

    • Additional certifications in gerontology, diabetes education, or pain management are a plus.

  • Proficiency in AxisCare or similar home care software is preferred.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
