Sewer and Drain Technician
Location: South Charleston, WV
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (with occasional overtime and rotating on-call nights/weekends)Position SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Sewer and Drain Technician to join our team in South Charleston, WV. This role involves providing high-quality sewer and drain services for residential and commercial customers, including routine and emergency maintenance, line locating, and video inspections. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining company standards for safety and quality.Key Responsibilities

• Clean and clear drains and sewer lines using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Perform line locating and conduct video inspections, including recording and reporting findings.
• Communicate effectively with the sales team to relay diagnostic information and assist in educating customers about solutions.
• Maintain and protect all sewer and drain machines, video equipment, and company tools.
• Provide outstanding customer service to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in residential and/or commercial drain cleaning.
• Working knowledge of drain line methods, tools, and equipment.
• Experience with cabling/jetting drain lines and sewer camera/video inspections.
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex drain issues.
• Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet productivity, safety, and quality standards.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Ability to lift and operate sewer and drain equipment multiple times daily.
• Comfortable working and driving in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable under company policy.
• Pass drug screening and background check.
• Provide your own basic hand tools.
• Available for occasional overtime and rotating on-call schedule for nights and weekends.
