About the Role

Join a supportive post-acute care team in Gatesville, NC as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). You'll collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and medical directors to deliver high-quality care to patients in post-acute facilities - on a part-time, permanent schedule built around weekdays.

Schedule & Pay

• $60-$70 per hour
• - Part-time, permanent
• - 2-3 days per week, about 6 hours on site per day
• - Days, with a flexible start between 7:00 and 8:30 a.m.; finish remaining work from home after shift change
• - Participation in an on-call rotation

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and deliver excellent patient care in post-acute facilities
• - Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and facility leadership to optimize outcomes
• - Conduct patient rounds, write orders, and manage diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• - Document daily visit notes in the EMR (dictation services available)
• - Maintain accurate professional records, billing, and reporting
• - Provide care in line with facility policies, bylaws, and healthcare regulations

What You'll Bring

• Active NP or PA license and DEA certification (required)
• - At least 1 year of NP/PA experience preferred
• - Background in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, ICU, ER, Hospitalist, or General Practice strongly valued
• - Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• - Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
• - A compassionate, empathetic approach to patient care
