We are seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate mill and/or lathe machinery. The role involves ensuring the quality and accuracy of machined parts by comparing them to blueprints and making necessary adjustments in collaboration with Quality Control. This position is for experienced machinists who are eager to work on high quality parts in a job shop environment. There is some pay flexibility based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Set up and run mill and/or lathe machinery.
- Inspect the first run product and collaborate with Quality Control for adjustments.
- Inspect parts during manufacturing to maintain consistent quality.
- Create fixtures and clamps as needed for various jobs.
- Compare machined parts to blueprints to ensure accuracy.
- Perform secondary operations such as tapping and deburring.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of machining experience with CNC mills or lathes.
- Experience in setting up (1-4 setups per day).
- Capability to make minor edits on machines using Fanuc Controls.
- Proficiency in vertical and horizontal milling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ownership of precision measuring tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and written instructions.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Experience with Fanuc controls.
- Experience setting up and operating precision machining equipment.

Work Environment & Shifts:
Our air-conditioned machine shop that is clean and well organized. We have new machinery recently installed to add to our existing production floor.
Day Shift is Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm
Swing Shift is Monday through Thursday from 4:15pm to 2:45am
Weekend Shift is Friday through Sunday from 5am to 5:30pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
