This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a certified Listening and Spoken Language Specialist Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist (LSLS Cert. AVT) to provide specialized services in a school setting located in Rowland Heights, California. This role is ideal for professionals such as Speech-Language Pathologists, Audiologists, or Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing who hold both their state license and the national LSLS Cert. AVT certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate the need for Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT) services for students.
  • Provide monthly AVT sessions (60 minutes each) if services are deemed necessary.
  • Collaborate with the schools team to support students listening and spoken language development.

Qualifications:

  • Current LSLS Cert. AVT (Listening and Spoken Language SpecialistCertified Auditory-Verbal Therapist) certification.
  • Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, or Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
  • Experience working with children who have hearing loss or auditory processing challenges.
  • Strong assessment and interpersonal skills to effectively support students and educators.

  • Schedule: Part-time, one session per month (60 minutes)
