Provide critical care nursing expertise in an intensive care setting, supporting patient stabilization and recovery. This contract role is based in Fruitland, NM, offering a dynamic environment within a well-equipped facility serving a broad region.

Location Overview: Situated near Fruitland, the position benefits from proximity to the beautiful San Juan River Valley in northwest New Mexico. The area is known for its stunning natural scenery, including three rivers, numerous lakes, and multiple national parks. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients, utilizing critical thinking and specialized skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, making informed decisions to adjust treatments.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology specific to critical care.
• Document patient information accurately and timely to maintain compliance and continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure with ICU experience.
• Strong critical care knowledge and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
