Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role is critical in maintaining the financial health of our organization and supporting strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the accounting team in daily financial operations
- Oversee the budgeting process and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports
- Coordinate the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Assist in financial planning and analysis to support decision-making
- Manage accounts receivable and improve cash flow management
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial objectives and initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role in healthcare
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- CPA certification is a plus
- Master's in Accounting or related field is a plus
- Experience with financial planning and analysis in a hospital or healthcare setting is an advantage
- Familiarity with grant management and compliance is a plus
