WWTP Estimator
Location: Aurora, CO
Compensation: $80,000 to $130,000 base salary
A growing construction company in the Denver metro area is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Estimator to support estimating and preconstruction efforts for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This position will be based in Aurora and will play a key role in developing competitive and accurate estimates for complex civil and treatment plant construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience estimating water or wastewater treatment facilities and will be comfortable working with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the bidding process.
Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for wastewater treatment plant construction projects
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to develop accurate bids
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis for labor, materials, and equipment
• Coordinate with project managers and preconstruction teams during the bid process
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and industry partners
• Assist with proposal preparation and bid submissions
• Support project teams during preconstruction and project handoff
Qualifications
• Over one year of experience estimating water or wastewater treatment plant construction projects
• Background in civil construction, heavy civil, or water infrastructure projects
• Ability to perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and estimating processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with estimating software and spreadsheets
Compensation and Benefits
• Base salary between $80,000 and $130,000 depending on experience
